It must be hard being a Kardashian sibling.
No, I’m not being sarcastic…when your big sister is busy ‘breaking the internet’ like Kim and Kourtney and Khloe are consistently gripping the world’s attention with every move they make, it must be hard following in your big sisters footsteps.
Kendall Jenner is famous by default. She didn’t really have a choice in the matter.
Choosing the modelling route was a natural career path for the Bruce Jenner’s daughter – because, well, look at her, she’s stunning.
However, ever since the 19-year-old set foot on her first major catwalk she has been criticised for getting into modelling the easy way, AKA being already famous with her family.
Kendall thinks this is bullshit.
Speaking to ABC News, she explained that hard work and determination got her to where she is today – not her famous background.
She said: “In reality I worked pretty hard for this, running around doing tests.
“It wasn’t like I just got it magically and it has just happened.”
She added: “I would always be looking at these supermodels, they were just so amazing, they were like superheroes… I want to be some little girl’s superhero.
“I want to be the best role model I can be to a little girl or a little boy or to anybody.”
She also admitted in order not to steal her thunder she tells family members NOT to come to her shows.
She admitted: “Banned is a strong word, it is more of a mutual understanding.”
“I think if my sister’s sitting in the front row, and my sister is who she is, it sounds weird, but it would have almost taken the attention away from what I’m trying to do on my own.”
