UPDATE: I am going to be doing press at Wireless 2016!
It’s my favourite UK festival and with headliners like Chase & Status and Boy Better Know, I’m really looking forward to it.
Stay tuned for all the backstage gossip, courtesy of yours truly…
I love my red lipstick but if you know me, you know it normally ends up anywhere but my lips.
Teeth, wine glasses, mugs…even on other peoples cheeks from time to time, lipstick is extremely hard to confine to the area it’s supposed to be in.
So when I read the story saying Holly Willoughby had breached ‘girlcode’ by not telling Jodie Marsh she had lipstick on her teeth on live TV I had to stop and think.
How would I feel in that situation?
Firstly, it’s not Holly Willoughby’s fault that Jodie encountered this make up fail and if she HAD pointed it out, it would have made people focus on it. Now, as a self confessed lipstick smearaholic, I don’t know if I would have appreciated another woman bringing awareness to my mistake on national TV.
Like Jodie, people have chosen to embarrass me in a public situation like this in the past – probably to be nasty and put me down in front of others more than anything.
Therefore, Holly could have looked like she was being bitchy.
On the other hand, if she HAD made Jodie aware of the situation, she could have fixed herself and made light of it, instead of leaving her to walk away feeling like an idiot.
However, I don’t think Holly breached ‘girlcode’ because either way…she was unwillingly subjected to a lose lose situation.
What would you have done? It’s an awkward one!
Either way, some poor make up artist has probably been handed their P45 today…
Hair extensions. They are something guys hate. Most of us don’t really need them but they make our hair look sooooo much better. There are good ones and bad ones (and when I say bad I mean REALLY bad)…and in 2016 almost EVERYONE wears them…
Picking the right extensions is tough. Some can look extremely tacky. It’s a personal thing. Having tried and tested various methods I know that synthetic extensions don’t work for me. I also don’t like the feeling of extensions being in my hair for a long period of time. In fact I generally only wear extensions on a night out. That’s why clip in extensions are perfect for me.
I’ve been using Milk + Blush clip in extensions for years.
Milk + Blush I hear you cry? Who are they? Well, the company used to be known as Head Kandy and Dirty Looks but recently changed names. However, their exceptional products are exactly the same.
If you are like me and use extensions to add a wee bit of thickness to your hair, one quad weft is perfect. It has four strong clips that stay in place and adds just the right amount of hair to give your barnet the natural look.
Milk + Blush offer a wide range of extensions and provide amazing help colour matching. A quad weft will set you back £32 plus P&P but it will last for a very long time and can be washed, cut and styled like normal hair.
Try them out for yourself and let me know what you think…
