A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Adam Deacon as he failed to appear in court after being accused of harassing fellow Adulthood star Noel Clarke.
The 31-year-old was due at Hammersmith magistrates court in west London today, accused of harassing Noel Clarke. He is being charged with posting abusive and threatening messages on social media relating to the Adulthood director.
Deacon was due before magistrates at 10.45am, but when he had failed to appear an hour later, the warrant was issued. He is due to be sentenced for one count of harassment without violence between 5 March and 19 December last year.
The Anuvahood actor was due to make his first appearance in court after being charged on 20 December. His bail conditions stated he was not to contact Clarke or any member of his family or friends, and was not to post anything on any social media website relating to Noel Clarke.
Having followed Adam Deacon on both Twitter and Instagram over the past few months, it is clear to see that there is more to this situation than meets the eye. I just really hope that he gets help and hands himself in sooner rather than later, because he has always come across to me as a genuinely good guy and an extremely talented actor…
