Queen Bey reigns supreme and is 2014’s top earning woman in music according to Forbes Magazine.
Mrs Carter has managed to double her takings from 2013 to an estimated $115million (£71.8m), thanks to her new album, endorsement deals and of course, her epic Mrs. Carter Show world tour.
One word. WOW.
The magazine also claims that 2013-2014 was “the biggest year of (Beyoncé’s) career”, with the star grossing an average of $2.4m (£1.5m) for each one of her 95 gigs.
Forbes previously named the Drunk In Love singer the most powerful celebrity in the world.
Taylor Swift was named this year’s second most profitable female artist, earning a career-high $64m (£40m) though this doesn’t include sales from her new album 1989, which sold 1.5 million copies during its first week on sale.
Surprisingly Pink ( $52m), Rihanna ($48m) and Katy Perry ($40m) complete this year’s top five.
Beyonce has lifted the crown from the original pop queen Madonna, who topped last years list.
Note: There are no female UK artists on this list.
