Grime godfather Wiley is back with The Heavytrackerz produced tune Chasing The Art…
Opening up about where he is in life right now, Wiley talks about the industry and his perspective on his status in today’s grime scene…
Students from East London’s Queen Mary University have made a petition to their principal to name a new building after grime godfather Wiley.
The petition on Change.org has called for the Bow university’s new graduate centre to be named in his honour citing his “significant contribution to the field of music” as the reason.
The Wiley Graduate Centre would “raise ambitions” in a disadvantaged area of the city and would be a “fitting tribute” to the “drive and ambition” of Wiley and the institution.
I think it’s a great idea…
Wiley has an extremely open conversation with Chuckie Online about feeling like his time was over, why UK rappers and MCs will never break America, Red Bull Culture Clash, the system not embracing UK RnB singer Angel and lots more.
It’s lovely to hear Wiley open up like this.
Well done Chuckie.
