Ahead of the eagerly anticipated UK launch of the Yeezy Boost trainers tomorrow (Saturday 28th February), I tell you where you can get your hands on them and how much they will cost…
A limited supply of Kanye West designed Yeezy Boost trainers are due to go on sale tomorrow in the UK after being introduced last week in the US.
Ye debuted the trainers worldwide at last month’s Grammy Awards and consequently launched them in the States during New York Fashion Week alongside his wider capsule collection for Adidas.
This shoe collaboration is the rapper’s first after his highly publicised fallout with Nike, who he historically vented his frustration at lyrically and during various performances and interviews.
Speaking about the partnership, Arthur Hoeld, General Manager of Adidas Originals said: “No one transcends music and fashion like Kanye West, he is a cultural icon like no other and brings a completely new expression to designing shoes.
“The Yeezy Boost is the first sneaker that brings Kanye’s unique creativity and individuality to the forefront of its design.”
So, if you, like me, can’t wait to get your hands on these iconic trainers, here’s what you need to know…
The Yeezy Boost’s will be priced at $350 (approx. £250) and are available from Saturday 28th February 2015.
