About Suzie

Suzie Mac is a Scottish DJ & Social Media Entrepreneur from Paisley, Scotland, UK.

She has amassed over 750K followers over her social media platforms including over 550K on Instagram.

From a young age Suzie showed interested in working in the Entertainment industry and starred as a child actress in the hit BBC Scotland Comedy Unit series Chewin The Fat as cheeky school girl Tracey Sneddon.

After graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University with a Business Studies Degree, Suzie worked in journalism in London for The Daily Express, The Daily Star and OK! Magazine before being drawn back into the entertainment industry and finding her feet in radio as a Breakfast Presenter at Bauer Media’s Aberdonian station, Northsound 1.

Leaving Northsound 1 in 2017, she then worked at Glasgow’s Bauer Media station Clyde 1 for a short period of time before moving back to London and working for INRIX as a travel presenter. Working for INRIX involved doing travel bulletins for national stations like Magic, Absolute, Planet Rock and LBC and local stations like BBC Radio London, BBC Radio Kent, BBC Radio Surrey, BBC Radio Essex, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, BBC Radio Berkshire and more…

It was during this time that Suzie began to focus on her true passion, becoming a DJ. After work she attended the London Sound Academy where she learned the skills to become a professional DJ. In May 2018, she was given her first paid DJ gig in a club in East London’s Shoreditch and from then on she never looked back.

In 2019 she made her festival debut at TRNSMT Festival where she made history be being the first DJ to play on the Queen Tuts Stage. She also played in Ibiza that year and at in store gigs for brands like Topshop and Mac Cosmetics.

An ally of the LBGTQ+ community she featured as the resident DJ for Glasgow’s Kween, London’s Haus of Bam Bam and currently holds a Friday night residency at the Grosvenor Cafe on Glasgow’s infamous Ashton Lane.

During lockdown 2020 she has been entertaining the world daily with her vivacious and energetic live DJ sets.

She is a Fashion Nova Ambassador, single and lives an AF life with her family and her dog Ziggy.
